Vietnamese frog legs are
farmed mainly in some Mekong provinces, especially Dong Thap Province. To see

The
scientific name of Vietnamse
frog legs is
Hoplobatrachus rugulosus.
From January to March, frogs in Vietnam
hardly grows due to cold weather, and only start to reproduce between April and
June. It takes approximately 3 months for them to be fully grown and ready for
harvesting, which explains why their peak harvesting time is from July to
November annually.
