Working people in Vietnam are looking forward to their last official holidays in 2019 this September - the Independence Day or National Day, which is celebrated on September 2nd every year in Vietnam.

Vietnam's Independence Day or National Day (Vietnamese: Ngày Quốc Khánh) is a national holiday in Vietnam observed on 2 September, commemorating President Hồ Chí Minh reading the Declarations of independence of Vietnam at Ba Đình Square in Hanoi on 2 September 1945. On this holiday, there are usually fireworks in the capital of Vietnam - Ha Noi and other major cities in the country, namely Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho or Da Nang. At the same time, there will be  musical programs on TV and other activities to celebrate the important event of the country.

This year, the holiday last for 3 days from August 31 to September, 2nd.
